The Sky King F959S Glider has been designed with beginners in mind and is an ideal first plane. The 750mm wingspan makes it stable in flight which the rear facing push motor and folding propeller are much more forgiving in a crash. The model comes complete with everything needed so you will be flying in no time.
The F959S Glider comes complete with everything you need for a successful first flight out of the box, including the radio control transmitter and battery. And there’s almost no assembly needed. In fact, you can have the plane flight-ready in less time than it will take you to charge the battery. (This product is not suitable for beginners)
The Sky King F959S Glider has been designed as a smooth, thermal soaring glider that will fit into the car with ease. The 7.4v 300mah 25c Li-Po battery has enough power to get up to height nice and quickly and gives a flight time of around 15 minutes per 30-40 minute charger. Once airborne The WL toys Sky King will sniff out the lightest of lift and by applying a small amount of flap you can rise to lofty heights with no power required. The included 2.4Ghz transmitter has a range of around 200m and gives full 3D control.

wow — when I got this plane, I was a bit taken back – it is so light, and thought it was pretty cheap. BUT — this thing flies great! the battery last a good 7-8 minutes and the plane is really fun to fly! I have flown everything from gliders to gas powered beasts, as was looking for just a fun, quick and easy plane to take out and fly — this one is it! Don’t be fooled by how simple it is – it works great!

Flight time is around 15 minutes and range is over a football field. If you have a turnigy 9x radio, you can bind and get double the range. The plane is made out of the good epo foam that can take some abuse. A little glue and you are back in business if you happen to crash at full speed. Try to fly in a grass field and tape the bottom with clear packaging tape to preserve it longer. Also, remember to throw straight out into the wind. I see people throwing upward and that can cause this to do a nose dive. Thanks for reading my review and tips and Happy flying!!!

This is a great little plane. First, It is truly really Ready to Fly (RTF)! Secondly, it flies great – much like a larger sailplane. Thirdly, the transmitter has a great display that shows control surface trim and battery charge. It can move fast, so I advise an area about like a football field for your first flight. It has a different “power on” procedure from most R/C models. You first connect the battery, then power the transmitter and wait for 3 beeps to bind the electronics. I am going to buy another for my vacation house.

This is the best flying plane I have ever bought. Right out of the box. Small enough to take any where, I take it in my motor scooter. I like it so much that I bought a second one. It will fly fast or slow even in a wind.

My nephew was able to fly it with almost no learning curve, doing 360’s and touch-and-goes (just clipping the grass) on the first flight. The plane glides very well so you can fly for a long time, only using the motor when needed. And it’s very hard to break: he clipped the trees several times, and the wings popped out, undamaged, just needed to re-assemble. A week or so later, he lost the wing stabilizing bar after clipping the trees again, but we were able to order a replacement from gearbest. In summary, I think this is the best-designed toy I have ever seen.

This was my first ever RC plane. It took a ton of damage (busted up nose, chunks out of the wings, servo horns torn out of the tail, rudder half torn off, motor impacted) and still cruised nice and smooth after a little amature tape and hot glue work right up untill I lost it in a tree. This was a stepping-stone into flying and scratch building RC planes for me and I couldn’t be much happier.

This plane rocks. It’s very durable. I have crashed this thing 100 times before it started to come apart. 30 of those crashes were straight into the house. I used dollar store glue to put it back together.It’s called “Super Glue Fix All Adhesive”. It was solid after that.
